Regulatory compliance
Whistleblowing is the tool through which employees and collaborators can report breaches of laws, of the 231 Model or of the Code of Ethics of which they have become aware in the work context.
The Company has implemented a procedure for the management of reports, in line with Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937, which reshaped the rules on whistleblower protection, also amending Article 6 of Legislative Decree 231/2001.
The procedure defines:
- the persons entitled to submit reports and the protection measures reserved for them;
- the available reporting channels and the related management procedures;
- the conditions for internal reporting and the assessment of the merits of the reports;
- the processing and protection of the whistleblower’s personal data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, with guaranteed confidentiality and anonymisation, restricting access to the persons authorised to handle the reports only;
- the management of reports: admissibility, dialogue with the whistleblower and assessment of the effectiveness of the company’s Organisation and Management Model (MOG).
The person in charge of handling reports is responsible for informing the Supervisory Body (OdV) if the report concerns predicate offences or breaches of the Code of Ethics. Furthermore, where necessary, the OdV will suggest amendments to the MOG in order to ensure adequate controls over the reported conduct.
Certifications
The anti-corruption and whistleblowing management system is part of the certified management systems of HQbuild S.p.A.: the Company is certified in accordance with UNI ISO 37001:2016 (Anti-bribery management systems) and with PAS 24000:2022 (Social responsibility), whose requirements concerning ethical conduct, integrity in business relations and whistleblower protection form an integral part of the Company’s policies.
