On 28 July 2026, at the Hotel Plaza in Tirana, the presentation of the third volume of the series «Fragments of Contemporary Albanian Architecture» (A2020/3) took place — a work edited by architects Armand Vokshi, Blerta Vula Rizvanolli and Besian Mehmeti and supported by HQBuild S.p.A..

The volume brings together the works and creative thinking of architects from Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, building a bridge between tradition and contemporaneity and conveying the level, the diversity and the vision of the architecture of these territories.

The address by Gen. Francesco Benedetto, member of the Management Control Committee of HQBuild S.p.A.

The evening opened with the institutional greetings and was moderated by Ph.D. Oltsen Gripshi. The presentations were given by Prof. Dr. Armand Vokshi, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of Tirana, together with the volume’s editors and Albanian and Italian professionals in the field, with video contributions from architects Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi and Eljor Kerciku and a talk by Arch. Renzo Costa. The discussion focused on the evolution of contemporary architecture and on the culture of quality and sustainability in building.

The event was held in collaboration with the Municipality of Tirana and the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the UPT, and with the participation of Everest, HQBuild S.p.A. and Smart Home Albania.

«Architecture is the language through which a society tells its own story, interprets the present and imagines the future. Because every great transformation is born, first of all, from a vision.»

— Artur Hamitaj, President of the Board of Directors of HQBuild S.p.A., from the preface to the volume

The third volume of the series, distributed to the attendees.

For HQBuild, supporting a project like this means contributing to a culture of quality, sustainability and responsibility towards the territory, fostering professional dialogue and the growth of contemporary architecture.
